Come Meet Your Albuquerque Police Officers

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – You’ve likely heard of Coffee with a Cop, but what if you aren’t a coffee drinker? Now, Sonic and APD invite you to come have a ‘Soda Pop with a Cop’.

The Albuquerque Police Department’s Northeast Area Command Police and Community Together (PACT) Team and Sonic invite the public to come have a cold soft drink and discuss policing in our city.

APD officers will be on hand to answer questions, listen to concerns and create an even better sense of community. The officers at this event work directly in the Northeast Area Command and are part of the specialty unit focused on community policing.

This event will take place:

DATE: Wednesday, October 18th

TIME: 3 – 5:30 p.m.

LOCATION: Sonic –825 Eubank NE (Near Eubank and Lomas)  

WHO: EVERYONE IS WELCOME

Events like this help build community through casual conversations and a relaxed atmosphere. The goal is to facilitate open discussion and focus on community policing.

6 Auto Burglaries – 7400 blk of San Pedro, 6400 blk of Santa Monica, 3600 blk of Candelaria, 9400 blk of Admiral Lowell, 7700 blk of Jacobo, 8800 blk of Holly

Points of Entry – All points of entry are unknown as of today

Items Taken – wallets, backpacks, laptops, registration, cash, change

3 Residential Burglaries – 7400 blk of San Pedro, 1500 blk of Parsifal, 9600 blk of Apache

Points of Entry – pried open front doors, screen doors cut, doors kicked in, doggie doors unsecured

Items Taken – jewelry, prescription medications, firearms, money, tv’s, gaming consoles, clothing, shoes, spare keys to vehicles
