Good Afternoon, The property crimes that are listed below are from the last 4 days over this past holiday weekend. Please note that vehicles are still being left unsecured and items left in plain view for criminal to steal. The same goes for residential burglaries, which had garage door openers left inside them. This allowed the criminal to commit not only one crime, but at least two, an auto burglary and residential burglary.
13 Auto Thefts – 8500 blk of Rancho Del Rio, 1800 blk of Moon, Wyoming/Montgomery area, 2600 blk of Louisiana, 3900 blk of Montgomery, 8900 blk of Northeastern, 4600 blk of Pan American, 3000 blk of General Chennault, 6200 blk of Indian School, 5300 blk of San Mateo, 7900 blk of Calle De Plata, 7000 blk of Louisiana, 6800 blk of San Mateo.
20 Auto Burglaries – 9600 blk of MacAllan, 6000 blk of Topke, 6000 blk of Moon, 2200 blk of Q St., 5800 blk of Harper, 4600 blk of Carlisle, 2600 blk of Menaul, 1400 blk of Pennsylvania, 6400 blk of Santa Monica x2, 4800 blk of San Mateo Ln. x2, 2200 blk of San Pedro, 7600 blk of Pan American, 6700 blk of Prairie, 2600 blk of Louisiana, 3700 blk of Erbbe.
Points of entry were broken windows, punched door locks and unsecured windows and doors. Items taken were stereos, tools, iPads, jewelry, bicycles, ammunition, drivers licenses, social security information and auto equipment.
5 Residential Burglaries – 9300 blk of Tasco, 9400 blk of Pebble Beach, 9100 blk of James Pl, 3500 blk of California, 2400 blk of Wellesley.
Points of entry included a front window, open garage doors, kitchen windows and unsecured doors. Items taken were jewelry boxes, laptops, tools and cash.
