Daily Watch Notes for 04172015 to 04202015

Property Crimes for the NE Area Command for this past weekend are as follows:

3 Auto Thefts – 6200 blk of Indian School, 6000 blk of Moon and 5800 blk of Wyoming

17 Auto Burglaries – 2900 blk of La Camila, 6900 blk of Menaul (x2), 9000 blk of Berryessa, 3100 blk of Monroe, 8200 blk of Spain, 5200 blk of San Antonio, 8200 blk of San Pedro, 8300 blk of Wyoming, 2500 blk of Carlisle, 5000 blk of Jefferson, 2200 blk of Uptown Loop, 3500 blk of Wyoming, 4800 blk of San Mateo, 3200 blk of Wyoming, 2600 blk of Vermont, 6100 blk of San Mateo. Points of entry included shattered windows and driver door locks punched. Items taken were electronic equipment such as cameras, tablets, stereos, and cell phones. Other items included firearms, purses and wallets that were left in plain view in the vehicle. Some vehicles had paperwork taken as well. Several locations were commercial businesses and as always, please take items with you or do not leave them inside your vehicle.

NOTE: NE AREA COMMAND OFFICERS APPREHENDED AN AUTO BURGLAR THIS MORNING ACTIVELY BURGLARIZING A VEHICLE. THE OFFENDER ATTEMPTED TO FLEE THE SCENE, BUT WAS CAUGHT. THE SUBJECT WAS IN POSSESSION OF ITEMS FROM SEVERAL OTHER AUTO BURGLARIES THAT THE SUBJECT COMMITTED.

10 Residential Burglaries – 7900 blk of Charger Tr, 2900 blk of Jefferson, 3100 blk of Colorado, 3000 blk of Solano, 5900 blk of Solano, 3800 blk of Montgomery, 2800 blk of Texas, 6500 blk of Mendius, 8400 blk of Spain, 9200 blk of Cascajo. Points of entry included open doors and windows along with doors kicked in. At least half of these burglaries were as a result of unsecured homes. Items taken were TV’s, jewelry, guns, money, and laptops.
