REMINDER: This weekend is Easter weekend and many of you will be out at shopping centers, possibly traveling; going on hikes on our beautiful trails in the mountains as well as attending services at your chosen place of worship. Your vehicles will be left in parking lots while you are all enjoying the festivities and the criminals will be also out watching to see what you might have left inside your vehicle for them to take while you are away. They know you will be gone for awhile, so they are going to take the opportunity to shop in your vehicles. This would be a good time to just take a look at what you have inside your vehicle that could possibly entice them to break in. What is visible? What isn’t? Where might they search for that item? What are they looking for? This includes items such as change in your change cup; chargers to your phones; wallets and purses left underneath the seat of the car; cell phones, etc. Take these items with you and don’t leave yourself vulnerable to these thieves.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us here at the NE Area Command substation at 823-4455. Have a wonderful weekend!!!
