We are in the summer months and it is warm out. Please though, do not leave your garage door open, even if only just a few inches. It is one of the easiest ways into a home for a burglar. We are seeing several residential burglaries where this is happening. This is easily remedied just by closing your garage door and securing your home. Do not make yourself a victim.

Remember that Crime Prevention will come out and do a security survey of your home as a courtesy to assess any vulnerabilities to your home. Call to make an appointment. This is a free service of the Albuquerque Police Department.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns as to the calls listed above, please let us know.
